The Saratoga hails from the popular 19th-century resort town of Saratoga Springs, New York. It’s only fitting that it be made with the product of another 19th-century phenomenon: the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. At 100 proof, 1792 Bottled in Bond is a bold but not overpowering addition to this stylish twist on the Manhattan.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz. 1792 Bourbon
- 1 oz. brandy
- 1/2 oz. sweet vermouth
- 2 dashes of Peychaud’s Bitters
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and stir until cold.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
